Petition to protect N.C. parks and open spaces
Environment North Carolina has launched a petition drive in support of the Land and Water Conservation Commission's proposal to dedicate an additional $1 billion for protecting more than 260,000 acres of the state's forests, farmlands, trails, parks, gamelands and other natural areas, and more than 6,000 miles of river and stream buffers.
